Read the information below

  1. To proceed, book a pre-enrolment interview over the phone here / or if you have questions – ring (07) 3112 6444
  2. Email through 2 forms of ID documents for enrolment (eg. DL plus Birth Certificate or current Passport)
  3. Once your ID Documents are received, the registration link will be emailed to you to register and pay
  4. We will then enrol you, send you a confirmation of enrolment email and log in details to start.

Respond to Client Needs

Six Weeks, Self Paced, External

Commencement date: Continuous
Cost: $350 (extension fee of $100 applies if not completed)

This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to respond holistically to client needs. Clients may have a range of issues outside and in addition to the area of immediate focus or expertise of the worker and their organisation.
The unit applies to workers in a range of community services contexts who provide person-centred support to clients.

CHCMHS001

Work with People with Mental Health Issues

Six Weeks, Self Paced, External

Commencement date: Continuous
Cost: $350 (extension fee of $100 applies if not completed after 8wks)

This unit applies to work with mental health clients in a range of community services work contexts.

This work provides a person-centred approach to care, involving a variety of health and community service professionals working collaboratively with the client, their carer/s and family.

Identify and Report Children and Young People at Risk

Six Weeks, Self Paced, External

Commencement date: Continuous
Cost: $350 (extension fee of $100 applies if not completed after 8wks)

This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to identify children and young people who are at risk.
This work occurs within legislative and policy frameworks and carries a duty of care responsibility. This unit applies to workers in a range of job roles providing services to children and young people including in community services and health contexts.

If you already hold the 2 units CHCCCS016 & CHCMHS001: Cost is $150 only to complete the unit or RPL (must have a min 12mths experience or have completed the 2 required units listed to apply for RPL)

  • CHCCCS016 Respond to Client Needs
  • CHCMHS001 Work with People with Mental Health Issues 
  • CHCPRT025 Identify and REPORT Children and Young People at Risk

Eight Weeks, Self Paced, External
Commencement date: Continuous
Cost: $550 for any 2 units (extension fee of $100 applies if not completed after 10wks)
Cost: RPL 2 units $385

  • CHCMHS001 Work with People with Mental Health Issues 
  • CHCPRT025 Identify and REPORT Children and Young People at Risk

Eight Weeks, Self Paced, External
Commencement date: Continuous
Cost: $650 for all 3 units (extension fee of $100 applies if not completed after 10wks)
Cost: RPL 3 units $455
